Hair Guy Lancer's
Bio
In 1990, I attended a well-respected beauty
college in Akron, Ohio. Upon graduation from
Cosmetology school, I went on to assist at a
few upscale salons in Fairlawn, OH, where I
furthered my skills. I eventually left Ohio to live
in Southeast Alaska, where I worked at a stylist
for a few years. I did well financially, though
the hairstyles in a small town were pretty basic.
I became bored and wanted to expand my
creativity.  I had opportunity to move to Seattle
in 1999, where I further advanced my education.

The hair styles that I do include military-style
clipper cuts (fades, flattops, high-n-tights), as
well as scissor-over-comb short hair cuts. For
longer hair, I use point cutting, razor, and other
specialized hand-texturizing techniques. Yes, I
can also do a blunt cut, wedge, or other
precision hair cut. I proudly use Framesi Color,
a high quality Italian Color line used by top
professionals worldwide, for most of my
coloring work.  I also use Special Effects
temporary vegan bright colors and Kadus
Fervidol semi-permanent German hair color.

My clientele consists of people from all walks
of life, who each bring their personal hair
challenges to the task! I am very lucky to have
interesting clients with all types of hair, from
thinning to overly thick and unruly. All of my
clients can be assured that their comfort and
needs are respected, and I do my best to help
them love their hair more and more.

Side projects in the past have included styling
hair for the performers in the Seattle Erotic Arts
Festival in April 2007. Also in April, I worked
with local artist,
Artana, as lead stylist for her
Devil Card photo shoot- part of her Tarot Card
series. Shortly after that project, I was
interviewed by Curve magazine and also by
TransNation. The Curve article is in the May
2007 issue.
